The Stewart Bear Arts Festival is held the second weekend
of August; next festival August 9th,10th & 11th, 2013.
Mission statement of the Bear Arts Festival is to increase
awareness through the education about bears and their
habitat.
The festival brings together local artists, photographers, and
musicians in celebration of these beautiful animals.
Art in the park showcases carvings, paintings, jewellery,
photographs and artisan.
Other events include nature hike, lecure on bears, 5KM
walk/run, bbq, pancake breakfast, children games, photo
contests and refreshment gardens.
